A: My name is Jiang Xiandong.

B: How did you hear about our company?

A: I read your ad in the newspaper about the job opening, and sent an application to you. I wish to say that I’m seeking the kind of position you offer.

B: We have received your letter and resume. So we’d like you to come here for an interview.

A: I’m very glad that my letter and resume were received. It is a great pleasure for me to have this opportunity for an interview.

B: What’s your impression of our company?

A: I feel that your company has a lot of potential.

B: Please briefly introduce yourself!

A: Ok! My name is Jiang Xiandong. I was born in 1972. I graduated from Beijing University. My major was Economics, I am single, I worked for a trading company before.

B: Could you tell us something more about your family?

A: Yes, I have parents and a brother. My father works for a company, my mother is a primary school teacher, and my brother is a salaried man.

B: Are you a local resident?

A: Yes, I was born and grew up here.

B: Do you have any other certificates or skills?

A: I don’t have any other skills, but I am quite good at computer.

B: Do you have any hobbies?

A: I have many hobbies, such as fishing, climbing, and playing golf, etc.

B: What do you do in your leisure time after work?

A: I do a lot of reading and I enjoy it. Occasionally I go out for walking the pet dog.

B: Is your English good enough to work in an American firm? You know that our company is an American firm.

A: I believe the amount of English I know is sufficient to work in an American firm.
